Can u do it for a 2015 Chevrolet trax
@@NOTQUITLIKEKK I don’t own one, I did one for the Honda hrv. Check amazon or eBay for the trax parts, it’s an older model so they typically seek them for $80. Good luck
The Taos is a good looking machine, but it’s very middle of the pack. Not sure what car you’rere talking about though, what’s a Towis???
got a 2022 back in 2021, brand new for my wife, the vehicle is great, i change the oil every 5k, take care of it with regular maintenance. It is not the first turbocharged vehicle we own. I think the problem is that people just don't know how to take care of a vehicle and don't understand how delicate all these 1.5t engines are (not only VW), it is not your typical 4 or 6 cyl engine. Warm up is important, cool down is important. Read a little about turbos, you will learn a lot an avoid some of the issues pointed here. The rear brakes, yeah, that was an issue, and wasn't happy about it.
@@jnoriegao trust me I know about turbos my first car was a 1986 Chrysler laser. Those turbos all went at 50,000 miles. Your right the tiny turbo engines now a days need more care. Glad to hear you’re having success.
As a former long-term renter and a current home owner and future landlord, I'd suck it up. Not worth the hassle to try to enforce on a paver walkway like this if everything else is in order. I have similar paver installments and they tend to move, shift, grow weeds, etc. They're not really permanent without concrete but serve the purpose. They are what they are.
@@CarefulCloud I like your attitude, thanks
I would just fix it up too
That depends, are you allowing them to do work themselves or requesting a licensed service to take care of upkeep? IMO, if you're requesting they have a licensed service take care of it, they should be calling setting it up and then giving you the receipts for you to adjust their rent accordingly. (Maybe 50/50 split) If you're allowing them to do the physical work, it falls on them. Unless its a big job like shingling or siding a house, in which case you're the property owner, you pay for materials in that case....but thats something i would have worked out with you during lease negotiations. What my partner and i personally do, is own small stake in my really good friends LLC, and hes contracted to run my properties and take care of all maintenance. And the same with my nephiews lawn care service....then i just facter it all in with the Tennants rent. Best way to protect your interests and investments 😊. Hope that helped, wishing you luck!
Give one warning show what it costs then start charging.
@@lezlierigler9600 i think that’s a pretty fair idea. Thanks
I think this is great ❤
Suck it up,Take care of YOUR property. The investment in curb appeal and maintenance should never be on the renter or asked of the renter. You can pay a local service to maintain it if you are not in vicinity of the property. The investment and care put into YOUR property will NEVER match a renter or temp resident. They have no investment, just a roof to live under. 🤷🏻♂️👍🏼👍🏼
Good question. It is hard for me to say what I’d do. It’s not a bad idea to have the verbiage in the contract but it may be more trouble than it’s worth to enforce. If they’re decent tenants and rent is on-time, maybe it’s not worth it.
Yep, not worth it. Maintain it for a solid paying renter! 👍🏼👍🏼
We’ll grass and weeds grow
What a difference 🎉

I have 2022 taos the brake noise was there since new and low coolant gasket problem as well , i had to pay for my brakes at 20k miles because i bought 26 month ago . Wait listed for head gasket

@@7gshark thank you so much for getting back to me. i'm at the end of my rope. I have Deer Scram Professional coming this week. 6b. I've tried everything - Liquid Fence (granular and liquid), irish spring shavings, essential oils, cayenne pepper (worked the best but not great).
@@becky-in3tw i noticed deer scram doesn’t work for ground hogs, chipmunks. It did seem to work for deer. I used all that chili pepper and stuff and it didn’t stop anything for me

Girlfriend had to get the head gasket replaced at 26k miles. The turbo burned out at 31k miles. There’s a weird grinding noise now when turning the steering wheel left and right. VW told us to wait till the grinding noise gets worse to replace it? lol! This is a 2023 Taos sel awd 4motion. I told her to go with the Tiguan because it’s been in production since like 2010 or something while the Taos barely started in 2021. Be wary before you purchase this vehicle.
@@rolandbegaye thanks for the feedback, maybe people will start listening
@@7gshark or at-least invest in the premium VW warranty if anyone loves the car so much! Lol.
How come you didn’t coat it thicker? Or do a second coast, just wondering because I haven’t seen my subfloor so I don’t know how bad it is but my house is really musty and smells a bit like cat piss because the veneer wood floors are all stained so I don’t know if it reached the subfloor and the smell will dissipate with the paint you just did. Also I don’t know if the musty smell is from the insulation in the walls. They are plastered walls so maybe it’s just from the floors. Thanks
@@carlindurfee7566 I put one thick coat down and it worked great, no more smell came through. How old is the house? The walls might not even have insulation

@@DesertGrownWeed that’s a shame, it’s definitely going to hurt your resale value. Maybe try to sell it if you can get enough. Sorry to hear
The rotten wood at the bottom needs to be completely removed and replaced with new wood, you simply cannot use filler on all holes wherever you see, it’s a big big mistake, not trying to be smart but it’s useful to do the job properly !
@@AfricanSouthernCross good information thanks
NO car has good resale value. Maybe to a degree Toyota’s but a Porsche or certain ones can hold some value. In terms of what I was looking for, it was a car that sits a bit higher than a sedan. It is not that loud (we are not expecting Mercedes). This is a car to just go from point A to B; we plan to put about 5-6k miles per year. Has a decent safety value. The competitors are MUCH pricier. Car and Driver ranked the Trax #1. Hyundai or Kia we considered, Toyota was out. Their used cars are way over priced for what we wanted
I would...Now you are only 2 months in the hole plus repair costs.
@@bobross5580 I don’t even know where they moved to either
Yes. Despite their obvious attempt to correct SOME of the damage they caused, they've forfeited their deposit. I'd be surprised if anyone disagrees with that.
Cool thanks for the comment
@@7gshark My pleasure. Good luck getting what's due to you.
Don't give them a dollar! It's going to cost you to replace, dump and clean. Dirty beggars.
Heres the problem with asshats like yourself. The most important thing is pronouncing the name of the "X" right. Clearly you didn't do your homework well enough, are just clickbaiting and trying to play scare tactics or you work for some other company and are trying to get sales. You looked for the negative reviews and only them. Yes the Taos has its issues but VW isnt declining people service unlike chevy who uses cheap soy based wire coating and declines to fix the issue so the consumer pays out of pocket. Not every Taos has issues from 22/23 models. I wonder if youll actually decide to try the vehicle before you bash it and by looking at your videos it looks like the most youll do is a exterior look. Your videos are also all over the place from camping to fish to DIY. Last thing is you want to bash the Taos but in this video you talk about how the cross is better which you also have a video about why you bought it. So now is your opinion invalid? I dont care if you respond and dont care if you dont.
Tubs do NOT spontaneously crack. What caused it? If the renter did something stupid, it is their responsibility to pay for the fix. If it happened because the tub is old and decrepit it is the landlord's responsibility.
Yes, they would be liable for no notice of the damage.
It’s clearly new because it wouldn’t have held for any waters. This had to be the first shower with it. It might’ve been late and you plan to call the next day. You don’t know the story if you use logic, you could do set. The crack must be pretty new and if it says in your contract that it has a shower in the unit then there needs to be a working shower you’ve already paid your rent. You paid your damn deposit and what not it’s on him to repair non-purposeful damage
THAT'S NOT THE RENTERS RESPONSIBILITY TO FIX THAT TUB
Yes it is. Nerd.
